Please note only groups with 4 children will be confirmed
Some children may require 1:1 support (additional cost) if they:
• Display behaviours that may pose a safety concern for themselves or others
• Children who have difficulty following adult directions in a group setting
• Children who are likely to leave the group area without supervision (elopement) and require closer supervision
The group is supervised by a Behaviour Consultant (BCBA) and implemented by trained Behaviour Interventionists (BIs). Sessions are structured, hands-on, and designed to support STEM learning through engaging science, technology, engineering, and math-based activities.
Children participate in small groups to allow for individualized support, with activities such as science experiments, engineering challenges, games, problem-solving tasks, and collaborative building projects broken down into manageable steps and taught using prompting, modeling, and each child’s interests. Skills are practiced through guided exploration, teamwork, creative design challenges, and interactive learning opportunities, with repetition and positive feedback to build confidence, critical thinking, and collaboration.
